Hi-Lume was part of the team that converted a Chelsea warehouse, abutting New York City’s famous High Line Park, into a 10-story private school, complete with classrooms, lunchroom, parents’ cafe, as well as a brand-new gymnasium and outdoor play space on the roof. The project totaled more than 200,000 square feet.

Hi-Lume Highlights
Scaffolding was not allowed on the High Line, so in order to frame and sheetrock the rooftop gym, Hi-Lume had to work from temporary platforms jutting out on needle beams from the 9th floor windows.
